Future Workforce

We are dedicated to inspiring, developing, and equipping California's current and future construction workforce.

Workforce Development

AGC of California is committed to development of both the construction industry's current and future workforce. Below are some of the ways we show that commitment.

Construction Leadership Council (CLC)

The AGC Construction Leadership Council is an opportunity for up-and-coming construction professionals to advance their professional development and leadership skills. It is an important platform for young constructors to collaborate face-to-face with industry peers, and build a strong network. The CLC also offers mentoring and leadership opportunities.

Student Chapters

AGC Student Chapters exist at accredited two and four-year schools offering programs in construction management, construction technology, and construction-related engineering. The AGC Construction Education Foundation currently supports California's network of over 500 Student Chapter members across 12 schools. With the help of AGC members and partners, students are provided with a opportunity to learn, observe and develop their professional skills with industry leaders. Student Chapter activities include: training, job walks, scholarships, and internship opportunities.
