First Time Attendee Conference Orientation

Is this your first AGC of California conference or maybe you haven’t been to one in a while?  The Conference Orientation is a crash course in all things Annual Conference.  Join us for a ride on the AGC Welcome Wagon, where you’ll learn more about the AGC business meetings, activities, networking events and all the FUN that takes place at our Annual Conference.

Welcome Reception & Grand Opening of Conference Expo
Wednesday, October 24, 2018 ~ 5:30pm - 7:30pm

The Welcome Reception is the official welcome to the 2018 Annual Conference.  Mix and mingle with attendees at the grand opening of the Conference Expo.  This networking event will offer ample opportunity for networking with conference attendees as well as 30 exhibitors. The Welcome Reception will also host the 4th annual Booth Crawl featuring locally brewed beer tasting at select expo booths. Visit all the participating booths for a chance to win the grand prize!

Exhibitor Speed Networking
Thursday, October 25, 2018 - 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Calling all AGC Contractor members! If you are interested in participating in the first Exhibitor Speed Networking event, you can receive half off your registration fee. Participating individuals must sign up to attend this event at Annual Conference and meet with pre-assigned exhibitors for at least 1 hour on Thursday afternoon. President's Reception

AGC of California President Walt Johnson and First Lady Pegeen Johnson will host a reception celebrating honoring the AGC President’s Club members. AGC CEF Student Chapter Job Fair
Friday, October 26, 2018 ~ 7:30am - 10:30am

This is a great chance to meet with students from many of CEF’s 12 student chapters across the state. Students, ranging from first-years to graduate students, will be armed with resumes and looking for internships, sponsorships or full-time positions. Companies conduct interviews and hire on the spot.

"Wranglers Ball" - Friday Night Event

AGC Awards Banquet
Saturday, October 27, 2018 ~ 7:00pm - 10:00pm
The AGC Annual Awards Banquet is a black tie event that celebrates the leaders in the construction industry. The event showcases the skills, ingenuity, and achievement of construction projects from around the state and the people behind them. Held in conjunction with the Annual Conference at the Resort at Squaw Creek Lake Tahoe, the Awards Banquet begins with a cocktail reception followed by a decadent dinner and awards presentations.

Join us and share in the excitement and suspense as the award winners are revealed for the first time!
